Arrow Season 4 Preview: A Brand New Dayby Clarissa / September 4, 2015
The first chapter of Oliver’s story has come to an end on Arrow, star Stephen Amell said at Comic-Con. When the show returns for its fourth season, Oliver and Felicity will have settled into domestic life and Oliver is “entirely at peace”. But how long will that last? Emily Bett Rickards hinted that Felicity will have “a void” when we see her again, one that may be coming from the lack of helping other people. It’s essentially guaranteed that she and Oliver would be pulled back into the superhero game and the only question was how and why.
Meanwhile, back in Starling City, Thea, Laurel and Diggle (now with a new costume) will be settling into their roles as the saviors of the city. But it looks like they call Oliver back to help when they run into problems they can’t fight on their own. A new master villain — hinted at in season 3 — will be arriving: Damien Darhk. We’ll also see Thea’s new love interest (played by Parker Young) and Matt Ryan from NBC’s Constantine, who will be making an appearance as Constantine in the Arrow universe.
Arrow will return for its fourth season on Wednesday, October 7 at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.
