It doesn’t take much for a town like BlueBell to whip itself into a tizzy. One person telling another something sensitive can quickly snowball into a tall tale of the highest order, with facts being twisted and worst case scenarios rearing their ugly head. What often results at the end of a long game of telephone is often worse than the secret that started it all, especially in a small, interconnected town where the smallest bit of gossip can be blown way out of proportion. But while BlueBell tends to run with whispers about new romances and unflattering dresses, how will they handle talk about the end of the world?
On the next episode of Hart of Dixie, AnnaBeth has a dream about town founder Cyrus Lavinius Jeremiah Jones, who warns her of five omens signaling the end of BlueBell as she knows it. Innocently, AnnaBeth entrusts such an unnerving (and strange) dream with Crickett, thinking that she could get some solid advice from her friend – reassurance that everything is fine and that the dream doesn’t mean what she thinks it does. However, instead of calming AnnaBeth’s frayed nerves, Crickett spreads word about the dream all over town and whips the residents of BlueBell into a frenzy, as everyone decides to seize the day while there are still days to be seized. Living for the moment is one thing, but an entire town deliberately finding ways to get out of their comfort zone is cause for chaos, chaos that will be hard to tamper down even if the omens in AnnaBeth’s dream don’t come to fruition. But could this wind up being a positive thing for BlueBell in the end? Could the reminder to try new things and to not be afraid of what you most desire be helpful to the town residents?
Elsewhere on Hart of Dixie, Zoe and Wade are surprised at just how different their attitudes towards marriage are, while George gets an offer that could change his life forever.
Hart of Dixie airs Fridays at 8:00 on The CW.
What do you think AnnaBeth’s dream really means? Will Zoe and Wade be able to find a compromise in their views on marriage? Should George take the leap and become a full-time music manager?
