NCIS Sneak Peeks: NCIZoolander

by Melissa J. L. Smith Sciuto / April 14, 2015

Tonight’s NCIS  runs the gamut from teeth-clinching tension to laugh-out-loud hilarity. When Gibbs (Mark Harmon) and Bishop (Emily Wickersham) go to Afghanistan to investigate a terror group holding a Marine hostage, Bishop worries that she is in a situation that is over her head.

The investigation starts with the murder of a Marine in Washington, D.C., but when the case leads them to Afghanistan, Ellie worries because she never has been trained for the type of frontline situation into which she is thrown. Could her inexperience be a danger both to herself and to Gibbs?

Back in D.C., McGee’s (Sean Murray) recent turn as a faux-catalog-model has prepared him for his next great adventure…as the “face” of NCIS. Watch as DiNozzo (Michael Weatherly) must come to the reality that his stint as “the face” has been usurped by “McModel” McGee. Tony may have to take his life-size standee out of the storage closet to relive his past glory days of model-dom.

Please, please, please let McGee do his remarkable “Zoolander” pose during this episode. Still laughing from the last time.

NCIS also stars David McCallum, Pauley Perrette, Rocky Carroll and Brian Dietzen. Guest starring tonight are Ted King and Michael Marc Friedman.  Tonight’s episode, “Lost In Translation” was written by Jennifer Corbett and directed by Tony Wharmby.

NCIS airs tonight at 8pm ET/PT on CBS.
