Dr. Anne Sullivan first appeared in season 2 of Pretty Little Liars when she was hired by the girls’ parents to help them deal with their desire to pin Alison’s murder on Ian Thomas. Back then, the girls confessed to Dr. Sullivan about “A” and she was the first person to learn about the original “A’s” identity (because “A” had threatened her son), later telling the girls that Mona had a personality disorder once she was unmasked as “A”. She was last seen in season 3 when she visited Spencer at Radley to analyze her current mental state.
But now, thanks to photos for episode 6.03, we know that Dr. Sullivan will be returning to Pretty Little Liars. In the episode, each of the girls is looking for answers after their terrible ordeals in “A’s” dollhouse. Aria sets her sights on Andrew and tries to figure out his secrets, while Emily tries to connect with a new friend. Spencer, meanwhile, is on a mission to find out as much as she can about Charles DiLaurentis from Alison and Jason. And Hanna wants to bring the girls back together so they can move past their experience. Will Dr. Sullivan help the girls heal?
