Tonight on Rizzoli & Isles: Maura and Jane Unravel a Shocking Secret

ri2The last couple episodes of Rizzoli & Isles have been nothing but phenomenal work by Sasha Alexander, Angie Harmon and the entire cast. It’s only been four episodes and we’ve already felt all kinds of ‘feels’ with both leading and supporting characters. And tonight’s all new episode promises to continue the pattern as Paddy’s (guest star John Doman)  murder trial begins and Maura gains insight of a shocking secret that will have her wishing that Jane had killed her biological father. Aside from the fifteen murders he’s charged with, what else could he have possibly done in the past?

We all know that Maura wouldn’t be herself if she didn’t have all the facts straight before the big day. After all, this is her father’s trial. As it turns out, Hope (guest star Sharon Lawrence) will give her some information about Paddy, and that piece of information will possibly be connected to Cavanaugh’s tragic past. I say ‘possibly’ because  we don’t exactly know what Korsak will reveal about Cavanaugh. Whatever that piece of information may be, it will bring Maura at a crossroads as she will have to decide which side she’s on when she and Jane unravel the secret about Paddy and Hope, which will definitely have an impact on everybody.

Will this be another enormously shady thing in Paddy’s life that will yet again prove that he’s not a man who can be trusted? I sure hope not, for Maura’s sake, but it is Patty Doyle we’re talking about — something is bound to have happened. All in all, this episode will in no doubt be as great as the previous episodes of what has been a terrific beginning to season four.

What are your thoughts? What do you think the secret may be?
