Last year at this time, we saw Dean facing off against Metatron in the season finale of Supernatural, only to get killed and then be resurrected as a demon thanks to the Mark of Cain. While the elder Winchester spent a few episodes as a demon, he was soon made human again. But since then he’s had to deal with the lingering effects of the Mark of Cain.
Once Charlie was killed, Dean went on a rampage, while Sam and Castiel tried to figure out whether they should proceed with their plan to use the Book of the Damned to find a cure for the mark. Is it possible with Rowena’s help? And now that Dean is aware that his brother has been working behind his back — despite his insistence that they not use the book (lest it lead to some dire consequences) — will he do everything in his power to stop Sam?
Watch an extended preview for the finale
Everything is going to come to a head in the season 10 finale, when Dean makes a choice that will change the lives of both Winchester brothers. Meanwhile, Castiel will get in the middle of a family squabble when Crowley and Rowena face off. Will one of them emerge victorious?
Don’t miss the season finale of Supernatural airing on May 20 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on The CW. Supernatural has also been renewed for an 11th season and will return in the fall.
