Supernatural Season 10 DVD and Blu-ray On Sale Todayby Clarissa / September 8, 2015
The tenth season of Supernatural was a milestone one, with the little genre show that was constantly on the bubble in its early years finally reaching a decade on the air. And it appears there’s no current end in sight as the show heads into its eleventh season this fall. The tenth season opened with a demonic Dean Winchester, who was trying to avoid a brother who was determined to find and cure him. And while demon Dean didn’t survive more then three episodes, the remainder of the season still had Dean fighting the effects of the Mark of Cain, culminating in a finale that saw the unleashing of The Darkness, a pre-biblical evil that the brothers and the rest of their allies must now fight. The tenth season had had several standout episodes, including “Reichenbach”, “Ask Jeeves”, “The Executioner’s Song”, “Inside Man” and “The Werther Project”, along with the introduction of Rowena, who became a terrific villain as the season progressed.
Of course, the best reason to buy the DVD and blu-ray sets are the Special Features. Aside from the legendary Supernatural gag reel, the Special Features for season 10 include:
