Supernatural Season Finale Extended Preview: Saving Deanby Clarissa / May 14, 2015
We’ve all been building up to an epic showdown on Supernatural. Just like the original Cain and Abel story (even with a Supernatural twist) was about two brothers, so too will the aptly titled season finale “Brother’s Keeper” be about the Winchesters.
But will we get a brother showdown? Dean has separated himself from Sam after learning that Sam was using the Book of the Damned to search for a cure for him. With Charlie recently killed after becoming embroiled in this mess, Dean went on a revenge killing spress against the family responsible for her death: the Stynes. How much longer is Dean willing to fight the effects of the Mark of Cain now that he’s embraced it again?
According to a new extended preview, we see that Dean will call on Death in the finale. While Castiel is recruiting Crowley to help him and Rowena with the cure, Dean is seeking his own solution. And Death promises that he can cure the Mark, but only if Dean is prepared to do something in return. What could that be? Ominously, it looks like the condition may involve Sam.
Watch a preview below for the season finale of Supernatural airing on May 20 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on The CW. When Supernatural returns this fall it will continue to air on Wednesdays at 9:00 p.m., according to the new CW fall schedule.
