The Big Bang Theory Sneak Peek: Smooth Moves

Last week’s The Big Bang Theory was the funniest so far this new season.

Howard, Raj, and Sheldon — he under duress — took Leonard to Mexico for a belated bachelor party in renowned physicist Richard Feyman’s party van only to have a flat tire in the desert. Simple attempts to remove the flat tire proved too challenging for the foursome, who then decided to apply real science to the problem, which ended in torching the van.

Meanwhile, back in Los Angeles, Bernadette and Amy threw Penny a bachelorette party, where it was less fun and more egging on Penny to finally tell her parents that she had eloped to get married. But it seems “the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree,” when it turned out Penny’s dad wasn’t as upset as she thought he would be, and for a good reason. He’d waited 12 months to tell her he had accidentally killed her pet pig with a farm implement.

This week in “The 2003 Approximation,” Sheldon gets the bad news that Leonard plans to move in with his new bride Penny, prompting Sheldon to move back to 2003, a simpler time when he didn’t know Leonard and Penny. Meanwhile, Stuart thinks a live band might liven up the Comic Book Store, giving Howard and Raj the opportunity to form their dream “filk” band.

Alan Eggleston A writer from the boomer generation, I was among the first Americans to grow up with television and even got my bachelors degree in broadcasting. My first professional job was working in a television station, working camera and then writing copy and promotions. A few years later I turned to writing for print and then adapted to the Internet. I love writing and I love good television and film - I hope it shows in my reviews.
